Following the death of his elderly father on Sunday, speculation arose as to whether U2 member, Larry Mullen, would be continuing with the band's world tour.
Recent reports, however, have confirmed that scheduled concert dates are due to go ahead and the 53-year-old drummer is understood to be continuing with the band's Innocence + Experience tour as arranged.
It has been established the father-of-three plans to perform with bandmates at their Vancouver show tomorrow night having travelled from the private family funeral in Ireland.
Larry Mullen Sr was 92-years-old when he passed away at the Bons Secours hospital in Dublin last weekend and his funeral is due to take place either today or tomorrow.
Larry's father, who continuously encouraged his son's love of music, is survived by his wife Alice, his son Larry and his daughter Cecilia, and is sadly missed by siblings, grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Our thoughts are with Larry at this difficult time.
