While rugby star Ben Cohen and his estranged wife Abby split shortly after his stint on the show in 2013, recent reports that he is now in a relationship with his dancing partner Kristina Rihanoff have deeply upset the mother-of-two.
Now, with tensions between all three incredibly strained, Abby is reportedly set to launch a campaign for Russian dancer Kristina to be axed from the popular reality show.
A source told The Sun this weekend: “Abby is still furious with Kristina. She considered her a friend while Ben was on Strictly, so seeing them together now is absolutely heartbreaking.”
“Kristina and Ben still insist nothing happened between them while on the show, and they say they only started seeing each other in recent weeks. Abby is sceptical about that. She has told people close to her that she is going to do everything she can to get Kristina kicked off Strictly,” the source added.
Ben and Abby are parents to seven-year-old twin daughters Harriette and Isabelle.
