She may live the high life, dashing from one fashion show front row to another, but it seems Kim Kardashian is just like any other mum when it comes to raising two young children.

The 35-year-old, who is mum to two-and-a-half-year old daughter North and two-month-old son Saint, has admitted that she is finding it ‘so hard’ raising her young family and keeping up with her daily routine.

Kim made the candid revelations in an essay shared on her personal website, and she managed to perfectly capture the thoughts and emotions of many mothers with young children.

Setting the scene, the reality star wrote: “I'm up at 4am, pumping and delirious, hiding in my daughter's closet because if she sees I snuck out of her bed she will start to cry. AND I think she gave me a cold so figure no better time to write a #Straight Up than now!”

She went on to admit that her mother Kris Jenner was absolutely right when she told her that having two children is like ‘having 20’, and revealed that she is finding it ‘so hard’ to get into the swing of her new role.

“When I had North, all I did was feed and sleep. This time around, I get no sleep. Every waking second that I'm not with the baby, I'm with North. I actually think the harder parts aren't with the newborn but with the toddler! I feel like I go into overdrive to give my daughter attention and make her feel loved,” she admitted.

Never one to give up however, Kim added that she is determined to follow the examples of her mother and older sister Kourtney, and to find her own path to becoming the best mother she can be.

While her life may seem a million miles away from our own, Kim’s latest admissions just go to show that the struggles of motherhood are the same across the board.
