They have been going out fir five years but that doesn't mean that Rachel Riley is watching her boyfriend Pasha Kovalev on TV every Saturday night.
The pair, who met on the Strictly dance floor in 2013, were partnered up on the BBC show.
The 32-year-old was asked if she was able to watch the programme when Pasha was taking part, she said, “it’s kind of left its mark. It just makes me feel nervous – so I make myself busy when it’s on.”
She continued, “I leave Pasha to it!”
What about when it comes to her own show, Countdown?
Yes she does - and why?
She says, “I like to see how the clothes come over on screen, because they look completely different.”
She continued, “and I do still like watching the numbers game. Sometimes the ‘TV me’ beats the ‘home me’.”
“Then it’s like, ‘All right, well done’. But if I’ve missed something while filming, it’s, ‘Oh, you idiot. How did you miss that?’”
Maybe Rachel might tune into the dance show if Pasha continues to keep scoring brilliantly every week wih his celebrity dance partner, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.
