Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole and his wife Zoe are expecting their second baby. The professional dancer revealed the news in a Boomerang on his Instagram account on Monday evening.

The post shows Zoe holding onto her baby bump with a smile stretching from ear to ear.

Zoe then went on to announce the news herself, playfully saying, “Yes it’s true! Came back from Mallorca recently with a little excess baggage!” Her post featured witty hashtags such as #babyonboard and #whathavewedone.

Zoe also shared a photo of their growing family on a beach in Mallorca. The model showed off her bare bump in the sweet snap, alongside her husband Brendan and their four-year-old daughter, Aurélia.

The model added another photo to her Instagram account of her and Brendan pointing to her bump in shock. The caption read, “Where did that come from?! #biglunchorbaby #whathavewedone #babyannouncement.”

Brendan took to Twitter to break the news to his 166,000 followers. The dancer’s account was flooded with adoring messages from his fans, fellow dancers, and celebrities.

Sophie-Ellis-Bextor responded to his announcement with glee, writing, “Woo! Congratulations, guys! Happy, happy news.”

Sophie took part in Strictly Come Dancing back in 2013, where she competed with Brendan. The pair placed fourth in the competition.

Fellow Strictly star Oti Mabuse, who dances professionally with Brendan on the show, was thrilled for the pair. She tweeted, saying, “Congratulations to my big brother @BrendanCole, couldn’t be happier for you.”

Brendan and Zoe were overwhelmed with all of the well wishes. They thanked their followers for all of the support and said they felt very fortunate.

The dance champion revealed that he couldn’t wait for his daughter Aurélia to become a big sister.

Brendan married British model Zoe in 2010. Two years later, Zoe gave birth to the couple’s first child, on Christmas Day.

Brendan was previously engaged to ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional Camilla Dallerup, whom he danced with from 1996 until 2004. They ended their engagement when rumours arose about an affair between Brendan and Natasha Kaplinsky, who won the first series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Camilla spoke about how hard it was to see her ex-fiancé grow close to Natasha, “What was really hurtful was not just that Brendan appeared to have forgotten he was engaged, the entire nation seemed to have forgotten he was engaged."

Brendan will return to Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday, September 22. This will be his fifteenth year on the popular BBC show.
