Sarah Jessica Parker cannot believe her boy is turning 16-years-old already.
The loving mum took to Instagram to share her sweet birthday message to her son.
“Never in our lives had we carried or imagined a bundle as life changing, joyful, wanted or loved,” she said.
“Happy birthday dearest one and only son. 16 years ago but it seems like yesterday. Xxx, your mama and papa.”
The Sex and the City star posted a photo of the day her son was born, reflecting on the precious memory.
Her and husband Matthew Broderick are shown with big smiles as they dote over their newest arrival.

The family started the boy’s birthday celebrations yesterday evening, decorating the house with balloons filled with shimmering confetti.
The mum went all out for her son, not wanting him to miss out on anything for his big Sweet 16.
Many fans have already commented on the celebrations, wishing James the happiest of birthdays.

James Wilkie started his second year of high school in September and his mum had a tough time realising how quickly he was growing up.
But she remained positive, encouraging him to “carpe diem” in all his upcoming academic adventures.
