Listen, we all know that when you become a mum, life changes.

You used to spend Friday nights out in town with your best pals, but now you cosy up on the couch with your kiddos - bliss, if you ask me!

Now my kind of fun is sharing those special moments with my daughter, that I would have once shared with friends. She's my little buddy and nothing gives me more joy than seeing her enjoy our time together.

We are talking sleepovers, movie nights and playing dress-up together.

1. Sleep Overs

Okay, so technically you live under the same roof, so every night is a sleepover - but not like the ones you used to have. Having an old school sleepover with your little one can be so exciting (and really special). Grab some sleeping bags, your favourite movies, snacks, delicious ice cream treats and chat about the silly stuff. Heaven

2. Pamper Sessions

Remember those evenings you'd spend at home with the girls getting all pampered? Face masks, nail polish and the occasional pedicure - all things you loved to do! Having a girly pamper session with our little ones is not only sweet but will provide some seriously lovely memories for both mummy and daughter.

3. Movie Nights

Remember those Friday nights where you just didn't feel like going out on the town? So instead, you and all the girls would all pile onto to the couch and watch one of your favourite films. Well, the time for a new tradition is now - so why not get your daughter involved in the classic movie nights? Get some popcorn and some other of your favourite goodies (hello, ice-cream sandwich!) and sit back and relax in front of the TV.

4. Shopping Sprees

As younger women, we would spend countless days roaming around town with our pals, window shopping, and buying stuff that we probably didn't need (guilty). However, if you're looking for a new spin on the shopping spree tradition, we seriously recommend bringing your daughter. You will, of course, end up buying her something pretty - but that's all part of the fun. And don't expect her to filter what she really thinks of that leather skirt. No holes barred here!

5. Sneaking off for ice cream

Remember when you were younger, and you and your BFFs would make HB Hazelbrook Farm ice cream sandwiches for the most delicious snack? Well, grab that gorgeous block of HB and some wafers, and get creative with your little one. What a special treat!

Or, what about an ice cream float? Such a lovely idea!

Your daughter will be your best friend forever - even when you inevitably fall out sometimes. There really is no one I'd rather spend my time with than my mini-me.

What do you think, mums? What kind of things do you like sharing with your baby BFF?
