Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield are forever in our hearts.

And soon you will be able to see them in all their golden twin amazingness on the big screen.

It has been confirmed that the woman who wrote Legally Blonde, Kirsten "Kiwi" Smith has signed with Paramount Pictures to collaborate on the film with Harper Dill, who writes on Fox's The Mick.

We don't yet know if twins, Brittany and Cynthia Danie,l who played the Wakefield girls on OG Sweet Valley High Twins will be in line for the movie. Author of the 600-plus Sweet Valley High books, Francine Pascal, has yet not revealed if she will be involved in the movie.

But what we do know is this:

1. There will be 90's centre partings on the boys.

2. It will make you will wish you had an identical twin (and lived in California).

3. There will be a swing towards 'cheerleading' classes as the new 'zumba' after it is released.

4. You will continue to secretly root for Jessica and Bruce Patman to rekindle their romance.

5. You will be curious to see if Todd Wilkins will return to throw Liz's life into a tailspin (again).
