Congratulations are in order for Brendan Hunt and his now-fiancée Shannon Nelson as the pair have announced they are engaged.
The Ted Lasso star, known for his role as Coach Beard in the hit Apple TV+ show as well as being the co-creator, writer and a producer, took to Instagram to reveal that he had popped the question to his wife-to-be.
Brendan shared a lovely photo of his fiancée looking overjoyed as she displayed her stunning engagement ring.
The 51-year-old captioned the post, “The majestic @snoopshann, so rarely photographed in her natural habitat, captured here in the act of saying ‘yes’”.
Many fans of the actor headed to the comments to send him and Shannon congratulatory messages.
One fan penned, “Awww wonderful news! Congrats”, while a second said, “This is so lovely! Congratulations!”.
“Ahhh beautiful gal, beautiful ring! Congratulations!”, added another of Brendan’s fans.
Shannon also shared the same photo of herself to her own Instagram page, as well as a snap of her and Brendan smiling from ear to ear after she said ‘yes’.
She penned a sweet message about her family in the caption of the post that reads, “We are a family. A beautiful wonderful family and will be for always”.
“Some folks have assumed we had already done this, but truth be told we had other priorities in becoming a family. Now it feels right”.
Nelson closed off by adding, “I get to marry this beautiful man. I get to call him my husband and to be his wife and I am the luckiest”.
Brendan and Shannon are proud parents to their two-year-old son, Sean, whom they welcomed into the world in January 2021.
When announcing his son’s birth to the world, Brendan revealed, “Long story, but I’m a dad now, and @snoopshann is already shortlisted for Best Mom Ever”.
“The lad himself is Sean Theodore Nelson Hunt, he’ll always be a London-born Cockney bootblack and I am besotted”.
Congratulations again to Brendan and Shannon as they embark on this exciting new chapter of their lives.
