Tense discussions: Harry and Meghan hoping to raise their child as a vegan

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to welcome their first child into the world at the end of this month but it looks like one of their parenting decisions has ruffled the Royal Family’s feathers.

It is understood that Meghan and Harry are planning on raising their son or daughter as a vegan.

According to Woman’s Day, the parents-to-be want their child to follow the same plant-based diet as them.

However, Queen Elizabeth is far from impressed with this decision. A source revealed: “Meghan keeps pushing the boundaries with the Royals and it's not being well received, least of all by Her Majesty.”

“It’s created tense discussions between Meghan and Harry, who doesn’t want to upset his grandmother,” they added.

The Queen simply won’t tolerate this decision, the source said.

It is believed Meghan follows a plant-based during the week and Harry has cut down significantly on meat since marrying the former actress. The Duke of Sussex has also boosted his intake of fruit and vegetables.

Meghan and Harry are determined to give their child a private life as the Prince understands just how intense being a member of the Royal Family can be. Reports have claimed that they won’t follow in the footsteps of his mum Princess Diana or his brother and sister-in-law Kate by posing for photos outside the hospital after their newborn arrives.

We love how independent Harry and Meghan are. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are certainly following their own path.
