The world is still in shock following the sudden death of Dolores O’ Riordan. The singer was found dead in her London hotel room on Monday, January 15.

 

Following the announcement of her passing, tributes have been flooding in with a book of condolences opening in Limerick City.

 

Loved ones, celebrities and fans from around the world have been sharing their fondest memories of The Cranberries star.

 

 

Taking to Twitter, her band members Noel Hogan, Fergal Lawler and Mike Hogan wrote, “We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores. She was an extraordinary talent and we feel very privileged to have been part of her life from 1989 when we started the Cranberries. The world has lost a true artist today.”

 

Sharing a photo of the No Need To Argue cover, TV presenter Laura Whitmore penned a touching tribute to the star. She wrote, “I remember the first time I heard your voice through my cousin's tape player and that was it I was hooked.”

 

She added, “The voice of a generation. I was lucky enough to meet you a few times, you were so unassuming of the power you had on so many people. So much passion. RIP Dolores”

 

 

Irish musician Hozier also expressed his shock following the 46-year-olds death. The Take Me To Church singer penned, “My first time hearing Dolores O'Riordan's voice was unforgettable. Shocked and saddened to hear of her passing, thoughts are with her family.”

 

Duran Duran tweeted, “We are crushed to hear the news about the passing of Dolores O’Riordan. Our thoughts go out to her family at this terrible time.”

 

Bono, Johnny Depp, and Sinead O’Connor paid tribute to the Linger singer during Shane McGowan’s birthday celebrations last night in Dublin.

 

The cause of the Dreams singer’s death has not yet been confirmed, but an investigation is underway.

 

Dolores is survived by her three children Taylor Baxter Burton, Molly Leigh Burton, Dakota Rain Burton.
