She may have only given birth just over a month ago, but the Duchess of Cambridge was back on official duty today.
Just six weeks after welcoming her second child, Princess Charlotte, Kate Middleton stepped out for her first post-baby Royal engagement in London – the Queen’s Birthday Parade.
The big event – also known as Trooping the Colour – saw the mother-of-two return to her Royal responsibilities, joining Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cornwall in the carriage procession.
The Duchess well and truly lived up to her style icon status, stepping out in a blue and white floral dress coat and matching hat for the celebrations. Meanwhile, husband Prince William joined the procession on horseback.
While he could not be there to ride in the carriage with his mum, a beaming Prince George was also pictured watching on from the Palace balcony - how adorable!
Kate’s first official post-baby appearance comes just a week after the first portrait of her new daughter was unveiled to the world. The Duchess bucked Royal tradition with the stunning collection of photos, opting to capture the beautiful images of Charlotte and big brother George herself.
Just days later, doting grandfather Prince Charles gushed over the latest addition to the Royal family, giving an insight into life with his granddaughter. Admitting that the tiny tot has been sleeping through the night for the Duchess, he added that she is "much easier on Mum than George".
Kate is looking absolutely fantastic, as ever.
