The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have hired a nanny for baby Archie

Over a month has passed since Harry and Meghan welcomed their first child into the world. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been loving every second spent with baby Archie with sources revealing they haven’t been able to stop smiling since he arrived.

“Family life could not be more perfect for [Harry and Meghan.] Ever since Archie arrived they haven’t stopped smiling. The sleepless nights are totally worth it,” a close friend of the couple recently told Harper's Bazaar.

However, every new parent knows just how stressful and exhausting those first couple of months can be.

In a matter of weeks, Meghan will return to her royal duties. The new mum is expected to take three months maternity leave which means she’ll be back working in late summer. Prince Harry returned to work days after Archie was born so the parents are going to need that little bit of extra help.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to hire a nanny who will mainly help the parents during the week.

Sources claim the British-born nanny will not work on weekends and won’t be permanently based at the couple’s home Frogmore Cottage.

However, she will be a massive support to the new parents when they embark on their royal tour to South Africa later this year. It is believed Archie will be travelling with his parents but they have yet to make a final decision.

Details about the Sussex’s royal tour will be released in the coming weeks.
