A new way of conversing began with the introduction of emojis to our keyboards and since then more and more options have become available to eager users.
With over 1,850 characters to choose from, you’d think they’d have everything covered, right?
Wrong. One emoji that was not present was that of single parent family, and single parents were not happy about it.
With the recent introduction of families with same-sex parents, it was only a matter of time before single parents were being catered for also.
And emoji-users everywhere have been sharing their delight at the latest update on social media.

Honestly if you haven't updated yet, the single parent emojis should really be enough to convince you. There's no sense in missing out.
