A photo of a baby surrounded by a ‘heart’ of syringes used during the IVF process has gone viral online.
The photo, first shared to the Sher Institutes Facebook page, was taken by mum Angela using the syringes and vials she went through during the path to conception with her daughter.
The poignant caption reads: “It shows the true definition of love that went into making this gorgeous new baby girl.”
Mum Angela admits that the daily blood draws and injections were “the easy part”, and that it was “the emotional struggle, the ups and downs, that really took a toll” on her.
