Love them or loathe them, none of us can deny the fact that the Teletubbies hold a special place in most of hearts.

That is why the latest plot twist in the land of domes and ridiculous names has seriously thrown us.

Tinky Winky, Dipsy, La La and Po have had children - eight of them actually (yeah, we're as confused as you are!)

This poses SO many questions - who belongs to who? Who made these babies?

A spokesperson for the show revealed: “The Tiddlytubbies live in their own special part of the Home Dome with the #Teletubbies. Have you spotted these small, cute character?”

The tiny tubbies are called: Baa, Umby Pumby, Ping, Daa Daa, Nin, Mi-Mi and Duggle Dee - baby names get weirder every year, mums.

They have their own individual colours and apparently go to “Tiddlytubbies Sleepybyes” on their musical roundy-round bed - yeah, we know.

The Tiddlytubbies have caused a frenzy on social media with freaked out fans trying to work out who their parents are - and we are right there with them.

Kim Craven wrote: “Just wasted time figuring out which Teletubbies are the parents of which Tiddlytubbies. A scandal emerged!”

There is no official confirmation concerning the parentage of the Tiddlytubbies.

Teletubbies debuted on CBBC in 1997 and ran until 2001, so fans were overjoyed when it was revived in 2015 for a new block of episodes.
