Rock Summer Camp

Rock summer camp is a multi-sport activity camp for children who enjoy the outdoors. It's all about making new friends in a fun yet challenging environment.

Designed for boys and girls between the ages of 5-12years, the camp offers them a chance to develop key sporting skills in a fun and safe environment.

The camp will take place at Blackrock College RFC, Stradbrook Road, Blackrock Co. Dublin

It includes multiple sports activities, based around carefully planned programmes to develop hand-eye coordination, game understanding, decision making, team work and individual skills. Emphasis will be placed on activity and enjoyment.

What is the schedule?

The camp will run from Monday – Friday each week from July 18th to August 19th. Bank holidays not included.

Warm up on the pitch starts at 09:25am, however early drop off is available from 08:30am and pick up is at 2:30pm each day.

 

Cost

The camp costs €80 per child per week.

 

Snacks

Healthy body makes a healthy mind. Good nutrition is promoted at Rock Summer camp.

There will be a mini break each day at 10:10am and lunch will be at 12:20pm.

 

What do they need to bring?

Children are asked to come prepared in adequate sports gear, depending on the weather.

Children are asked to bring their own water bottles, the camp will provide a refill station.

 

What happens when it’s raining?

When it rains, indoor activities will be provided including indoor football.

 

Coaches

The coaches are highly qualified and include qualified teachers, qualified sports coaches and current players.
