The Lion King is one of the most heart-warming and beloved Disney classics around, and there is one scene that sticks out in most fans’ heads to this day – where Rafiki holds a young Simba aloft on Pride Rock, to that iconic chanting.

Well, while the ‘Kiss Cam’ phenomenon has caught out the likes of President Obama and the First Lady, one US basketball team decided to put their own spin on the popular halftime crowd entertainment tradition.

Spectators at a Denver Nuggets game were left delighted and highly amused recently, when they found themselves caught up in the ‘Lion King cam’.

Like the ‘Kiss Cam’, the ‘Lion King cam’ focuses in on a member of the audience on the big screen, but rather than kissing their other half they have to lift their little one up high to the tune of Rafiki’s chant!

As you can imagine, the results are as amusing as they are adorable.

What a hilariously sweet idea – we love it!
