Ferne McCann’s body image struggles have been well documented and since joining the cast of TOWIE, Ferne has had to deal with all kinds of body-shaming.

In the past, the mum-to-be was taunted on Twitter for the size of her nose; and after years of feeling insecure, she decided to have a nose job.

She also revealed she’d been taunted online for gaining weight after an injury.

“My weight fluctuates, and I put weight on last year when I hurt my ankle, and I stepped out wearing a silver dress and people weren't very kind,” she told The Mail Online.

“I always say that I'm not going to let the comments get to me, but they do. It hurts. There is a lot of pressure to look good," she conceded.

Now that she’s pregnant with her first child, Ferne has revealed that she finally feels comfortable in her own skin for the first time ever.

“This is the first time I have totally loved my body," Ferne told new! magazine. "I think I love my bump so much. I definitely recommend oiling up your bump and boobs every single morning and evening."

While some mums-to-be find the bodily changes difficult to accept, Ferne is delighted with her new boobs: "The big boobs are part and parcel of the pregnancy.

"They'll come in handy for breastfeeding when the baby is born. Let's hope they stay,” she said.

We’re glad to see Ferne in a good place at last, because she had a very tough start to her pregnancy.

Just a day after announcing her pregnancy, the father of her child and her former boyfriend, Arthur Collins, was arrested in connection with an acid attack at a London club.

Arthur was charged with 14 counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm (GBH), and one count of throwing corrosive fluid on a person with intent to cause GBH.

Ferne has since split from Arthur but was very upset when news of his arrest broke.

“Initially, I was devastated. What I had planned and was getting excited about had disappeared in a matter of moments,” she told OK! magazine.

“It was so hard to deal with what happened, but then I realised it was not about me but about my child. I’ll do my best for my baby.”

We’re glad to hear Ferne is enjoying her pregnancy, and we wish her all the best.
