Recently, weatherman Patrick Ellis was trying to explain to television viewers about the weekend weather in Mississippi, when he was interrupted.

As if from nowhere, a small child appears on screen, and begins to dance around ,messing with Patrick.

"We've got a little bit of, uh, interesting things going on right now," he said as the child starts farting in his direction.

"I don't know what's going on!" said the youngster, who is called Houston.

The weatherman could not help but laugh throughout the clip, but still managed to effectively discuss the weather onscreen.

Patrick asks little Houston if he would like to help him present the weather, which really just resulted in more onscreen farting.

"There are toots and farts everywhere," Houston said, with regards to the metrological situation.

Houston's dad eventually came to the rescue, and pulled his hilarious little son off camera,

The television station have since received a lot of attention, and have invited the youngster back to present the weather for real.

We're looking forward to watching that!
