Lynette, a blogger, had to ground her three kids and came up with an ingenious way of getting them to help out around the house.
In order for the three kids to be "ungrounded", they had to work up 500 points from Lynette's list.
Harder chores rack up more points, cleverly.
If the children cleaned out the microwave, they got 40 points, if they load the dishwasher they got 40 points and it was 10 points per sink scrubbed clean.
Lynette reported that her eldest son began working up his points straight away while the other two were still hard at it. She even said they got a freshly cooked meal from him, thanks to this system.
We bet they'll think twice before they break mum's rules again!
