She has carved out a lucrative career for herself through a starring role in ITV’s The Only Way is Essex, and it seems reality TV star and mum Billie Faiers is making sure that her daughter Nelly follows suit.

The 25-year-old has revealed that while little Nelly does receive a salary for her appearances on the popular show, it’s not on a level par with more senior cast members – and Billie is not one bit happy about it.

In an interview with Heat magazine, fashion designer Billie revealed: “She does get paid. She’s got her own bank account, so every time she films she gets some money put into it, which means she’ll have savings when she’s older."

Insisting that her daughter ‘deserves’ the earnings, Billie did admit that she’s a little put out by the fact that her 22-month-old is at the lower end of the pay-scale.

“[It’s] actually a bit unfair. When she’s on TOWIE my Twitter goes mad, more than anyone else on the show. I need to have a word with them about that,” she added.

Billie is engaged to Nelly’s father, Greg Shepherd, and the pair are reportedly hoping to add to their brood very soon.

Do you think that baby Nelly should be earning the same money as the other TOWIE cast members?
