If you watched this year’s Late Late Toy Show (and let’s face, who didn’t?), then you will no doubt remember the fantastic Johnny O'Loughlin; weather enthusiast and Evelyn Cusack super-fan.
Well, RTÉ has done something truly wonderful for Johnny this week – they have given him the honour of creating his first national weather report!
In the short clip shared to YouTube today, Johnny – sporting his signature hat and dickie-bow – delivers the most important report of the year: the Christmas weather report for Santa’s journey from the North Pole.
Johnny is as confident as ever in the minute-and-a-half-long piece, as he reveals that the man himself is due to arrive in Ireland at around 9pm – it could be later though, depending on the weather he and the reindeer encounter.
He also shared a very important reminder to mums, dads and little ones nationwide: Santa does not deliver toys to kids who are still awake, so be sure to get to bed nice and early!
