She recently revealed how she had endured five cycles of IVF before becoming pregnant with her twins, and finally TV star Julia Bradbury has introduced them to the world.
The Countryfile presenter, who gave birth to daughters Xanthe and Zena back in March, has posed for her first photo shoot with her little ones, in the latest issue of Hello! magazine.
The 44-year-old, who is already mum to three-year-old son Zephyr, opened up in an accompanying interview on the image she wants to portray for her girls.
Admitting that she will be returning to work in September, Julia told the publication: “My career is very much part of my make-up and who I am. Now I have two little girls, I feel I have a responsibility to show them they’ve got to be independent, self-sufficient, fend for themselves and forge their own path.”
The road to motherhood has not been an easy one for Julia. During a difficult pregnancy with her first child, she was diagnosed with endometriosis and, later, pre-eclampsia. She also endured a complicated labour with her twin girls, reportedly losing more than four pints of blood.
The star previously said that she felt ‘lucky’ to be pregnant again, admitting that she didn’t think she would ever have a big family as a result of starting having children later in life.
We are over the moon for Julia and her family.
