As a mum-of-three Anna Daly certainly has her hands full, let alone with her hectic job as a presenter with TV3. The mum has opened up about how she juggles work life and mum life, and it sounds like she has found the perfect balance.

The Weekend AM host said she feels less mum guilt now than she did before. She told the Irish Mirror, “I think when I’m in work, I’m in work and no offence to my kids who I absolutely adore, but I kind of forget about them. And you put your work hat on.”

“There’s a bit of juggling between home and work and kids and family stuff. But for now, it’s working very well. I have a husband who is very tolerant of my weekend gig. You’d need it,” she added.

She encouraged fellow mums just to do their best and to stop beating yourself up if you can't find the perfect balance.

Anna added that it’s okay for your routine to change: “Some weeks are very work-focused, and others are very family-focused and I think it all balances itself out.”

She previously told the RTÉ Guide that it hasn’t always been easy for her and husband Ben: “Its hands on deck for both of us, although it’s a tricky enough week for my husband, to be honest, because he’s working all week then he has the kids on his own at the weekend until I am home.”

“Ben is the dream dad. He gets more stuck in than I do. He’ll do the shopping on Saturday morning with the three of them in tow. I just wouldn’t bother doing that. I would wait until he is home to do shopping like that,” she admitted.

We love how honest Anna is about the realities of being a working mum.
