Paying tribute to the well-known TV personality, Good Morning America took to their Twitter page in order to celebrate alongside the excited mum-to-be.
Uploading a shot of a clearly overjoyed Sara clutching a tiny baby-gro emblazoned with the Good Morning America slogan, the television show joined the news anchor in sharing her wonderful news with millions of fans and followers.
Grinning broadly for the camera, the much-loved television personality could barely hide her delight and spent much of yesterday chatting about the announcement on Twitter.
Revealing the gender of Sara's impending arrival, the show tweeted: "Congratulations to @SaraHaines on the announcement that she is having a baby boy!"
The ABC correspondent, who has made notable appearances on The View, Live! With Kelly and Michael and Today, has been inundated with warm wishes since the big reveal yesterday.
Celebrating Sara's warm personality and joie de vivre, colleague Jenna Bush Hager wrote: "Congrats to my body double, and one of the most fun friends I have, @SaraHaines! You're sure to be an awesome mama. XX"
Sara, who exchanged vows with husband Max Shifrin in 2014, has been quick to respond to her fans and colleagues' tweets and thanked them all profusely for sharing in her joy.
