Mums of new babies know it can be hard to get them off to sleep. Just when you think they're drifting off, suddenly they're awake again and won't settle until you pick them up.

So, we were intrigued to see reality TV star Chanelle Hayes show off the method she’s been using to get her baby to sleep within minutes.

Chanelle has taken to Instagram to share the secret that helped her one-month-old baby Frankie doze off.

The Big Brother star shared a photo of the little one peacefully sleeping on a cushioned pod.

“"Bloody hell it seems to be going quite well,” the mum-of-two wrote underneath the photo, with the hashtag #2minutesin.

Other mums commented on the photo of the ingenious napping cushion, saying they had also used it.

“This has to be the best purchase I made!! Wish I’d bought one for my other two”, one mum wrote.

“My youngest slept in his from 14 weeks to 18 months! Loved it”, another chimed in.

Chanelle welcomed her second son on August 29  after a difficult pregnancy and took to social media the next day to announce his arrival.

She and her boyfriend Ryan Oates posed for a newborn photoshoot with their little bundle of joy a few weeks after the birth.

“So excited for everyone to meet our new addition, Frankie Edward Oates,” Chanelle wrote next to a photo of the couple cradling their newborn son, on her Instagram page.

She is already a proud mum to six-year-old Blakely from a previous relationship.

Chanelle was extremely candid during her pregnancy, admitting that she "hated" her baby body.

“It’s horrible. You just feel massive and huge, and I felt big anyway beforehand,” she said, in an interview on ITV’s This Morning.

“I’m so grateful I could have a baby, but it’s just a miserable, miserable time, and I think there’s so much talk about postnatal depression but it can also make you feel really bad when you’re pregnant as well”.
