USIT, Ireland's leading provider of work and travel programmes, has announced the criteria for graduates wishing to apply for its Graduate USA Programme 2024, along with application cut-off dates.
This one year programme is immensely popular amongst Ireland’s young graduates, offering a fast track to career progression and the opportunity to stand out with international experience. The programme includes destinations across the United States, such as New York, Boston, and San Francisco.
Graduates who are eager to participate in this unique and flexible programme are encouraged to submit their applications early to avoid disappointment. Those who graduated in May/June 2023 are required to apply 10 weeks before the same date this year, as participants must depart Ireland within 12 months of their Graduation Certificate date.
For 2024, USIT is providing two special discounts for travellers availing of their Grad Programme. A loyalty offer of €400 off is available to those who have previously used USIT, applicable for any future travel as long as you are eligible and have travelled with USIT on a J1 or Camp USA programme. Additionally, a €200 Easter promotional discount is currently available to those who sign up for USIT’s USA Grad Programme - so now is the perfect time to secure your spot before places are taken!
To be eligible for USIT’s Grad USA Programme, you must be over 18, hold a valid Irish passport, and be a final year student or recent graduate from a full-time Level 6 degree or higher. Applications are accepted year-round, but processing takes 10 weeks and places are limited. Final year students can only travel after completing their exams, and recent graduates must enter the US within 12 months of graduating. Those studying at 3rd level holding other passports are eligible to apply for USA Internship & Trainee programs with USIT.
The Grad USA programme offers flexibility, allowing customers to source their position after arriving in the US, without the need to have a job secured beforehand. The programme costs €1,999, with only a €199 deposit due at booking.
