In this dark comedic prequel to the Emmy-winning Breaking Bad, we meet ambitious small-time lawyer Jimmy McGill six years before he becomes Walter White’s morally challenged attorney, Saul Goodman. We follow as Jimmy (played by Bob Odenkirk) transforms from an optimistic underdog struggling to make ends meet into the notorious legal legend who puts the criminal in 'criminal lawyer'.

We want to know what you think of the latest Netflix Original Series, Better Call Saul. What do you think of the Jimmy McGill/ Saul Goodman character? Are you enjoying the trials and tribulations that surround his character? Or which character do you prefer?

It's funny, and awful - a clever mix of both.

nightowl - that's a great description - funny and awful, I like it. I think you're right, you don't necessarily have to have seen BB, but there are some subtle references that you miss if you haven't .

I love it so far. Am holding out hope that they'll have a few cameos from BB. Would be brilliant. I'll be watching like a halk.

This is so true fluffster .... I'm the EXACT same. It also happens when I eventually get to sit down to a hot cuppa for a bit of peace and quiet. #nosuchluck ha ha ha

I'm so happy this is on an episode a week, I'm in a terrible habbit of binge watching boxsets - not good for me, not to mention the kids and social life. Enjoying watching this one epdisode at at time. And it's a great show, so entertaining, and super tense. I love is. Has me absolutely gripped.

Saul was my favourite in BB - just adored him. And really loving him in this show - well done Netflix. hope we get a second season.

better call saul as the spin off of braking bad takes the great humor from braking bad and at this point is still waiting for the plot to thicking altho with all the known charicters from braking is already showing up that the show is about to take off in fantastic fasion.and should show itself to be a fantastic prequal to the wellknown braking bad it has already shown that saul has always been that funny devient charicter he appares as in braking bad and soon to up to his crafty ways before we know it ....#loving it

You know I thought when this started I wouldn't enjoy it becuase it wasn't in a boxset, but I'm actually getting quite used to watching an episode a week. Brilliant show - I guess that helps :)

Am thoroughly enjoying it, and absolutel love hte setting. How gorgeous does it look? Or is that just great filming. Either way, it's great.
