Whether you have been feeling a little down lately or have started experiencing more off days than you'd like, the following will help you feel a little happier.


Be good to yourself

If you’ve set yourself a goal that you have yet to reach, don’t be too hard on yourself. Instead, give yourself a pat on the back for the work you have done so far - remember, every step takes you that one bit closer to your goal.


Do something nice for yourself everyday

If it’s to read a chapter of your favourite book, tell yourself you look pretty or take ten minutes to simply be, doing something nice for yourself will not only help you relax but feel more positive.


Tell yourself you’re good enough

It is so easy to criticise yourself and say you aren’t good enough, but it's time to be a lot kinder to yourself. Look in the mirror and out loud repeat, "I am fantastic, I am good enough" over and over again until it actually sticks in your head.


Accept who you are

Easier said than done, we know, but it is so important you accept who you are - flaws and all. How we perceive our body can have a detrimental effect on our happiness.


Eat properly

It is important you eat a proper healthy diet to keep your energy levels up and your stress levels down. But that doesn't mean you can't treat yourself to your favourite food every now and then!
