Zooey Deschanel revealed her brand-new hairdo on Instagram and we have fallen head over heels in love with it.
She chopped off her long, black tresses and opted for a shorter look.
The New Girl star is rocking a chic bob, that has us itching to make an appointment at the hairdressers.
We feel like Zoey has been rocking the full fringe and long black hair look since 500 Days of Summer was released so this is a welcome change.
The mum-of-two wrote, “Meant to post this weeks ago. Thanks @mararoszak for my big-time haircut!” alongside a stunning selfie.
Fans flooded Zooey with praise, “You look gorgeous as always.”
“If I could have anybody else's hair on the planet, I would want yours! So pretty,” one fan said.
Another added, “You look great! I love the shorter style!”
We couldn’t agree more, also doesn’t Zooey look a little bit like Matilda with this new hairdo?
This bold new style is perfect for the actress, as she enters a new stage of her life as her show New Girl comes to an end. As well as starring in the popular comedy series, Zooey also produces the sitcom.
Zooey plays bubbly teacher Jessica ’Jess’ Day on the series, but fans will soon be waving goodbye to her loveable character as the final series airs later this year.
Unfortunately, the final season is only eight episodes long, but Zooey knows fans will love the finale.
“I'm really happy we had a final season and we knew it while we were shooting it. The writers did a good job. There are a lot of Easter eggs,” she teased.
