Preparing yourself
While having your baby in the world is exhilarating, the first little while will be tough, especially if you’re a new mum. However, preparing yourself mentally for some of the challenges ahead will make you better able to enjoy having your little one home.

Giving birth puts your body through a lot, so be prepared to be left feeling sore, give yourself time to heal and take all the help that’s going.

Having your new bundle at home with you, will make you feel like nothing you have felt before. Take the time to enjoy every bit of it. This precious time will fly by.

And when you don't feel ok, this is normal too. It’s ok not to feel ok. If you need help, reach out to your GP or midwife. They can guide you through it.

Good luck mum!
