Wild Words is a book festival in Carrick on Shannon especially for children to celebrate and enjoy literature, to meet authors and to encourage interest in creative writing.

 

Taking place on Saturday, 13th and Sunday, 14th August, the programme will feature the likes of Sarah Crossan, Dave Rudder, Melissa Doran and Michael Fewer as well as special guest Alison Curtis to name but a few. 


The festival is aimed at kids aged between seven and 11, and some of the events are free. 

 

Saturday, 13th August:
