You reach a certain stage in pregnancy where you just really, really want that baby to come out! If you’re getting a little impatient, perhaps you might consider taking a leaf out of Kaylee Bay’s book?

Tired of waiting for her baby girl Gretsel to arrive, Kaylee Bay – who works in the legal field – decided to issue an ‘eviction notice’!

The Utah mum was nearing her due date earlier this month, when she began to experience contractions. But then they stopped, and Gretsel failed to make an appearance.

In a bid to make light of the situation, Kaylee approached Judge Lynn Davis with a notice for her baby to vacate – and it is BRILLIANT!

The notice was eventually shared by American Fork Hospital, where Kaylee went on to give birth.

The address given in the notice was ‘Mommy Belly Lane, Womb, Utah’, and the order reads: “You have committed a nuisance because: Mommy is uncomfortable and running out of room for you!

“Too much heartburn and rib-kicking, and I’m sick of waddling!

“You are required to vacate the premises within three calendar days, counting weekend and holidays!”

According to the hospital’s account on Facebook, Judge Davis was ‘happy to comply, and signed and stamped the official notice’.

“He told Kaylee that in 31 years, this was the first time he’d ever been asked to sign an eviction notice for a foetus,” the status read.

“It must have had some effect, because just 12 hours later, Baby Gretsel was born. She didn’t want to be in contempt of court!”

Mum and Baby are said to be doing really well and, as you can imagine, their hilarious story has delighted the internet!

We bet Gretsel will get a right kick out of this story when she’s older!
