Queen Elizabeth’s family often referred to her as 'Lilibeth', a nickname that stemmed from her childhood. However, Her Majesty had another very odd nickname, given to her by her grandson Prince William when he was a young boy.

According to the Daily Mail, Prince William used to struggle with saying ‘granny’ like many children do. However, the young royal came up with his own unique pronunciation of the name.

Apparently, the Duke of Cambridge used to call his grandmother ‘Gary’ when he was a toddler- Hilarious!

Speaking of the prince’s nickname for Queen Elizabeth, Richard Kay explained that the Queen was looking after young William when he took a tumble at the palace.

He started to call out for Gary, whom guests assumed was a member of staff at Buckingham Palace.

As she picked up her grandson, Queen Elizabeth shared, “‘I’m Gary. He hasn’t learned to say Granny yet.”

Now a soon to be dad-of-three, Prince William has revealed that Prince George is just like him when he was a youngster, referring to his son as “a little monkey.”

He may be mischievous, but Prince George has grown closer to his dad through a very sweet shared-interest.

Kate Middleton revealed that the young prince and his dad watch movies together. Speaking at the BAFTA Awards, the Duchess revealed, “They are just getting into films now, George is four-and-a-half. Paddington is definitely up there, and so is Coco now.

“It's great obviously because of William's interest in film, it's great to have that father-son thing,” she gushed.

The family-of-four are set to welcome a new addition into their family very soon, with Kate set to deliver baby number three in the coming days.
