While Lamar Odom fights for his life in a Nevada hospital, much of the press coverage has understandably focussed on the world-famous Kardashian family and their response to the tragedy considering that Khloe is still married to the former LA Lakers star.
However, while media outlets report on Kris's tweets and Kim's decision to postpone her baby shower, it appears less attention has been paid to Destiny and Lamar Jr - the children Lamar had with former girlfriend Liza Morales.
Letting her own voice be heard as the public comes to terms with the tragic events which unfolded this week, 17-year-old Destiny today took to her social media channels and expressed her own despair at her father's sudden hospitalisation due to a suspected drug overdose.
Uploading some beautiful shots of herself and her dad, Destiny encourage her social media followers to keep her father in their thoughts, writing: "Please keep praying."
With admirable courage in face of such heartbreak, the teen laid bare her hopes and wrote "Let us laugh again and be filled with happiness" above an image of herself giving her beloved father the thumbs-up.
Offering an insight into the heartwrenching situation she is currently enduring, Destiny uploaded an old family photo accompanied by the caption "Please don't leave us"
Destiny and Lamar Jr. have already suffered one family tragedy in recent years when their six-month old brother, Jayden, died from SIDS in 2006.
