The star is currently doing the promotional rounds for her new movie, Age of Adeline, and gave an insight into the kind of panics the new parents have been getting themselves into since the arrival of baby James.
Echoing the previous sentiments of her husband, the 27-year-old admitted that the pair are “already paranoid” about raising their daughter.
During an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, former Gossip Girl star Blake said that their paranoia even has them planning for James’ teen years!
“We turned our basement into this cool, accessible room. I said to Ryan, ‘You know, we need to put in a window.’ And he said, ‘A window going down into the basement? That doesn’t make any sense.’ I said, ‘It’s a chastity window. You know. You were a teenage boy. We cannot have our child – a daughter – go in the basement with a boyfriend. We need to get a window so that they know at all times that we are watching and they can’t get away with doing anything terrible,’” she said.
She added, laughing: “It’s the new form of contraception. We’re already planning for that, and terrified!”
If they’re already planning that far ahead, we think it’s safe to say that Blake and Ryan are going to be very devoted parents!
