She only announced her pregnancy just over a week ago, and we were all pretty taken aback this week when it emerged that Rochelle Humes is actually six months pregnant with her second child.
Now, in an appearance on ITV’s Loose Women, the 27-year-old has opened up about the downside of keeping her baby news under wraps for so long.
“The first three months I felt horrendous, but no one offers you a seat because they don’t know!” she revealed.
Boy, can we relate! Fair play to her for powering through – those early weeks and months can really take their toll on your body and energy levels.
Rochelle, who is already mum to three-year-old daughter Alaia-Mai, insisted that there was a very good reason for keeping schtum over baby number two.
Admitting that her first pregnancy was revealed far too early, after being photographed emerging from a hospital scan, the singer said she and husband Marvin only let ‘super-close’ people in on the secret.
“This time I was like, ‘I’m going to be in control of this and keep it quiet as long as possible’,” she added.
In the end, it was dress fittings for a Children In Need event that spurred her on to announce her news, on November 17.
