Photos of much-loved popstars and newborn babies never fail to delight, so it's perhaps no surprise Olly Murs' recent Twitter offering has sent social media into overdrive yesterday.
Taking to Twitter to gush over the newest addition to the Murs family, the popular X Factor presenter uploaded a snap of himself cradling his newborn baby nephew Quinntyn.
The doting uncle wasted no time celebrating the newborn's arrival and could barely contain his excitement at the prospect of meeting the adorable little boy, writing: "I'm off to meet a very special little boy today."
Sharing a snap which has been liked thousands of times in mere hours, Olly wrote: "Awww I'm a super proud uncle today!! Little baby Quinntyn...8lbs of love..."
It seemed like Christmas has certainly come early for the star, who rose to fame after finishing as a runner-up on The X Factor in 2009, as he gazed lovingly at the little boy in the tender family shot.
Paying tribute to the little one who already sports a very sweet nickname, Olly finished the post, writing: "Can't hug him enough...my lil 'Quinny'".
Echoing her son's sentiments, Olly's proud mum, Vickylynn, credited the new arrival for bringing much joy to the Murs family, writing: "What a wonderful Christmas present for us all, thank you."
It looks like the festive season is going to be a particularly happy one for the Murs family this year!
