Having been flour-bombed by animal rights group PETA in the past for wearing fur, more than a few eyebrows were raised when mum-of-one Kim Kardashian decided to dress her daughter North in a fur coat for her father's fashion show last night.
Stepping out in New York with her mum, North wore black Dr. Marten boots, black leggings, a black T-shirt and an oversized fur jacket, however it has yet to be confirmed whether North's outer wear was faux or not.
Commenting on Kim's decision, PETA's UK director Mimi Bekhechi said: "Kids are naturally drawn to animals and sympathetic to their plight, and there's no reason to think that North is any different."
Acknowledging the fact that fur-loving Kim may have gone down the faux route with her little girl, Mimi went on to say that if the opposite does happen to be true then "animals have suffered for vanity, something that we're sure neither North nor any little girl her age would support."
Known for often matching her daughter's outfit to her own ensemble, Kim decided to include a controversial touch to her own look by sporting a Nina Ricci wool coat with accompanying fur collar.
Kim has yet to speak out about North's outfit, but we're sure the 34-year-old won't be allowed let this particular fashion choice slide without comment.
