If their family photos ar anything to go, there's no doubt that Prince William is one incredibly doting dad.

Having recently called his beautiful baby daughter, Charlotte, "a little joy of heaven", the 33-year-old much-loved member of the royal family proved he has no problem relaxing the stiff upper lip and showing his softer side in public.

Continuing the trend today, Prince William decided to offer another insight into royal family life while speaking at Cambridge University.

While opening a new centre at St. John's College, Kate Middleton's doting husband revealed that their daughter has seemingly followed in her incredibly elegant mother's footsteps.

Paying tribute to the little girl they welcomed into their lives on May 2nd this year, Prince William said his daughter was "very ladylike" - a description which melted the hearts of all those present.

Suggesting that his children were a little different in disposition, Prince William decided not to describe his son, Prince George as 'gentlemanly' but instead acknowledged his adorable little boy's mischievous air.

Describing his two-year-old son, who often tells strangers he's older than he actually is, as "lively", Prince William reminded us just how adorable the young royal duo are!

We can't wait for the next heartwarming insight!
