Just as the recent rumours hinted, the Hollywood couple’s baby is named James.
Ryan finally caved during an interview on The Today Show, when he was asked for possibly the millionth time as to what the little one’s name could be.
Joking at first that it was “Butternut Summersquash”, the Green Lantern star finally gave in, saying that the name is already “out there”.
“It’s out there. It’s out there. It’s James. Everyone knows, and I told everyone who would listen that,” said the 38-year-old.
Explaining why the couple haven’t confirmed it until now, he once again referred to his daughter’s potential feelings on the subject when she grows up.
“Before it was out there, I didn’t want to be the first guy screaming it out to the media because, as we know, little girls turn into teenage girls, and little teenage girls sometimes scan through the archives and go ‘why did you do that?’” he added.
Well, that’s that finally settled. It is an absolutely beautiful name.
