Many parents reading this will know only too well how difficult it can be for an only child to welcome a younger sibling. They can be left feeling confused and upset – and it seems North West is no exception.

Kim Kardashian West got real about becoming a family-of-four this week, telling ELLE.com that North is still getting used to not being the centre of attention at home.

Kim, who welcomed son Saint with husband Kanye last December, told the website that she’s trying to tackle the issue by bringing North in to greet her little brother each morning.

“She still wants things to be all about her, because she’s three! But planting that seed every morning, that the day starts with you and your brother, that’s how I’ve been doing it,” she explained.

The reality star added: “Right now, because she’s three, it’s time to talk a lot about sharing…She’s still getting the concept of having a brother.”

And while Kim is looking forward to the day when North and Saint will be able to ‘really start communicating’, she knows that sharing will become an even more important lesson then!

“Once he’s big enough to start grabbing toys, we’ll have to get involved in a different way,” said the 35-year-old.

No doubt this proved to be a refreshing discussion for Kim, who has found herself at the centre of controversy this week over that leaked Taylor Swift tape.
