A day after it was reported that her newborn nephew had passed away, singer Christina Milian took to social media to share her thoughts and thank her fans for their well wishes.
Christina’s sister Danielle gave birth to son Richie Bear earlier this week. The reality star and her husband Richard had defied doctors' advice to terminate their pregnancy, after their tot was diagnosed in the womb with omphalocele, a birth defect whereby the organs form outside of the body.
A day after his birth was announced, Danielle took to Instagram to reveal that her newborn son had passed away, writing: “Last night he took his place with the Lord and we said goodbye. I so appreciate the prayers and support from everyone. He touched my heart and was perfect in so many ways.”
In an update on her own Facebook page, Dip It Low singer Christina shared a photo of Richie’s tiny foot, writing: “The last 24 hours have been an emotional rollercoaster but I’d like to thank everyone for being so supportive throughout my sister Danielle and Richard’s pregnancy. The both of them have shown the true measure of courage and faith for the last 9 months and I can’t praise them more.”
