Following on from Karen O's announcement that she is now the proud mum of a little boy, it has been revealed that Samia Ghadie has welcomed a son into the life she shares with Sylvain Longchambon.
The 33-year-old Coronation Street star, who has a six-year-old daughter named Freya from a previous relationship, gave birth via Caesarean section last Thursday.
Taking to her social media channels to announce her wonderful news, the actress, who met partner Sylvain while appearing on Dancing On Ice, wrote: "@slongchambon and I are so happy and in love beyond with words with our beautiful boy."
Paying tribute to his fiancée, a delighted Sylvain took to Twitter to share his own delight, writing: "I'm so happy and in love with our beautiful boy and so proud of my @realsamia (and in love with her too!)"
The couple chose to honour certain family members when choosing their son's name.
As a a nod to Sylvain's brother they chose Yves for their son's first name while their little boy's middle name is after Samia's late father Joseph.
The undoubtedly beautiful Yves Jospeh Longchambon weighed in at a healthy 8lb 9oz and sounds like he's the apple of his parents' eye.
