Supermodel and mum-of-two Gisele Bunchen has found herself in the headlines today, amid reports that her marriage to American football star Tom Brady is under strain.
According to sources, the couple’s six-year relationship suffered a knock after Tom was dragged into the ‘deflategate’ scandal at his club, the New England Patriots.
Brady has been forced to appear in court and unlock private emails as part of an investigation into the deflation of footballs ahead of important football games.
Opening up about the toll the scandal has taken on the couple’s marriage, a source told People: “There have been a lot of stresses in their marriage in the last year, especially during football season.”
Adding that Brady can be ‘nasty and cold’ at times, the source continued: “Tom is singularly focused on his career and sometimes Gisele feels left out. There have been arguments.”
The reports come amid claims that the pair have been spending less and less time together.
Gisele and Tom married in 2009, going on to welcome son Benjamin later that year. They also share three-year-old daughter Vivian, while Tom is dad to eight-year-old John from a previous relationship.
