“It was the most unfortunate positioning of a spilt drink, whilst Victoria was sitting down – thankfully it was not a ‘dampener’ on what was a fantastic night!” the star’s rep told the Daily Mail.
Victoria’s lavish event marked her store’s one-year anniversary, with the likes of Naomi Campbell, Ellie Goulding and Noel Gallagher in attendance.
The former Spice Girl’s husband David was also on hand to support his wife, with the pair putting on an affectionate display in the face of split rumours.
Paying tribute to Victoria on her achievement, the 40-year-old wrote on Instagram: “Proud of what this young lady has done and achieved…Exciting night at Dover Street.”
