Looking forward to receiving the product and testing it, it's like a laundrette here so it will be out to good use ;-)

It just arrived going to put a wash on now looking forward to reporting back :)

Mine also arrived today getting ready to out on a wash have taken out desperate drawer and cleaned it all out. Now I'm just wondering it says to add 2 cap fills to the fabric softner drawer can I also continue he to use softner? We've 4 little people here and at the min have 2 nephews also staying one is a year and a half and the other 5 months so loving the concept of the dettol cleanser.

I received my sample today. I was pleased with the intial smell of the product as I was a little worried it would smell of disinfectant simular to other Dettol products. I hadn't heard of this cleanser before. I used it today on a wash at 40 degrees, I had to use the fabric softner drawer so I couldn't use my fabric softner which I wasn't happy about. After the wash, the clothes had also lost the fresh smell from my detergent but I am not sure if this is because I also had to use a stain remover on the wash as my little guy had a nose bleed and stained some of his clothes. Before I fully judge I am going to use it again later in the week without the stain remover and I will report back then.

Kar21 that was my concern it said add to fabric softner drawer so I haven't used it yet wants sure if I could use both together. Were the clothes soft our water can be harsh. Like you I was obese toy surprised with the smell was concerned it would be the sterile disinfectant odour.

EJHM, The clothes were ok just missing the fresh smell. When I do my next wash I am going to check if the Dettol cleanser goes into the wash early and still allow me to use fabric softner before the rinse. I will keep you posted.

Has anyone else not received their sample yet?

Kar I've my first load on now without softner am a but dubious, time will tell ;-)

Mine arrived two days ago I had five loads of washing to do so I've used it a lot. I use detol all the time in the kitchen so I was dying to know how this would smell and it was gorgeous.I do pick dettol over most brands plus its normally on sale aswel . Ice seen the adds for the laundry cleanser and I was very curious.
I loved it the clothes came out smelling lovely and my family have sensitive skin ans it hasn't bothered us at all.the smell was the best thing about it and after having a horrible bug in the house it was great to know the clothes were free of it that would definitely be the best benifit of the product .
I have already told my mum and sister about it and both have gone out to buy it!!! I will most certainly keep using it and the gorgpeus smell is a bonous plus suppervalue have had it half price this week so I will stock up !!!!

Recieved my Dettol Laundry Cleanser yesterday and couldnt have been a perfect day to use it! I had 4 loads of washing to get done and it was a great day to get it washed and dryed so first off I was delighted to hear Dettol had created this brand. The dettol brand has been in our home since we were kids and a totally trusted brand name to us. To hear it kills 99.9% bacteria in the wash even at very low temperatures was fantastic! I love the packaging,shape of bottle and it came in a lovely pleasant soothing lavender frangrance. To any busy household I would highly recommend this product for Hygenically clean clothes. Thanks for the oppurtunity to try this new product out. Happy Mum all round :)

I recieved Laundry cleanser yesterday. The packaging was no less than expected from any of the other Dettol products ive used in the past. I had never heard of this product before reading about it on mummy pages so I was excited to try it this morning. I like the fact that even when washing clothes at a 40deg wash I can be assured this product is still managing to kill unwanted viruses/bacteria etc. As a mum and carer of schoolgoing kids and babies there are many viruses etc brought into our home and I am a constant user of Dettols disenfectants and I would also be known to use bleach a bit. So my mind is even furthur at ease in the knowledge of further protection.I will definetly be using this product again and I will be recommending it.Of course a great deal will depend on its price point , lets hope its not priced out of my budget

I've my 2nd wash on, fragrance wasn't too bad but I'd like to be able use softner also especially for the towels. I might try a washing liquid with added softner and report back.

Having received the Dettol Laundry Cleanser product I was like a mad woman on a mission to wash wash wash. I stripped allt he bed sheets and got them in the washing machine. I would usually wash them at 90 degrees .I put the sheets in with 2 capfuls of Dettol Laundry Cleanser and my washing powder and I washed them at 30 degrees. It was fantastic that I could wash my clothes at 30 degrees especially bed linen. Them came out with a lovely light lavender smell to them.

PART 2 Today was my second wash and I'm Currently Potty training my son so you can imagine the amount of wet soiled clothes . Once again i used Dettol Laundry Cleanser this time I used a fabric conditioner , I washed this clothes at 40 degrees this time and they washed well the stains were gone , I couldn't really smell the lavender this this time because i added fabric softner. But this was brillant to have a piece of mind to wash soiled clothes at 40 degress and the know all the bacteria and germs were gone. I did a towel wash today and I would usually wash these again at a 90 degree wash , i did the towel wash at 30 degrees and only used washing powder and Dettol Laundry Cleanser and the same great results fab light lavender smell. I am a huge fan of Dettol producrs especailly after having kids. I use daily the Dettol Anti Bacterial Surface spray in green apple and i use the Dettol Anti Bacterial spray and wipe floor cleaner also in Green Apple and sometime i use lemon. I was never aware that Dettol had brought out the Laundry Cleanser and im very happy that they did. I for one will be telling all my family and friends about this product. It's fantastic to know that i can wash my clothes at a low temperature and this product can kill germs and bacteria. I would choose Dettol products over all over cleaning products as I trust them for my family. What i loved about he Dettol Laundry Cleanser is knowing your clothes are washed and gem and bacteria free at a low temperture wash. I am delighted that this product has come to the market as i can now wash my items at a low wash without any worries. I really enjoyed using this product and I'm so glad i was picked to trial this. This will now be an item on my shopping list,

Rhonda can I ask did you add the softner at the same time as the Dettol cleanser in the same drawer, I'm going to try it tomorrow on a towel wash. I do wash all my clothes on 30 degree wash as it is.
