Whether we like to admit it or not, each and every one of us has been lied to by our children.
While providing our little ones with a moral compass is a priority for most of us mums, it’s fair to say our efforts fall a little short sometimes.
Proving that no matter how much evidence may point to the contrary, a child’s compulsion to hide the truth from Mum can be all-encompassing was little Evie who was caught on camera telling a rather tall tale.
Interrogated by her mum as to the whereabouts of the family goodies, Evie, wearing only a nappy and a face-full of chocolate, insisted responsibility lay at the feet of her teddy bear.
Or was it her rabbit?!
All we know is, Evie most certainly wasn’t going to take the fall for this particular indiscretion!
