Shauna Ray Lacey moved us to tears with when she sang a moving rendition of “Crazy World” for her late father.

The Carlow Rose opened up about her parents’ drug addiction on The Rose of Tralee, voicing the family's struggles but ensuring viewers that she was “never short of anything.”

The young mum dedicated her performance to her father, who had always worked hard for the family despite his ongoing battle with heroin addiction.

When he passed, Shauna’s mum stepped up for her daughter and supported her through life’s obstacles. The Carlow Rose was relieved to have her mother’s help and encouragement when she announced her pregnancy at just 21-years-old.

Shauna recently shared a heartwarming video of her now three-year-old daughter singing along to her “Crazy World” cover.

Her daughter Emmy is seen belting out the Aslan hit with a big smile as she sways to the music.

She looks adorable with her blonde ringlets and flower-covered skirt as she concentrates on the next lyric.

The proud mum captioned the post: “Can we all just take a minute to appreciate this Little superstar. Emmy’s beautiful rendition of ASLAN, CRAZY WORLD copying her Mammy."

The Carlow rose joked about her daughter’s dynamic stage presence when “she went all Christy at the end.”

And between all the giggles and good fun, the mum relished the special bond she shares with her daughter regarding the intimate tribute.

One day when little Emmy is all grown up, her mother will be able to explain the true significance of the Aslan song and all that her grandfather did for her.
